Dennis & Dylan at IAF Brazil
We are pleased to announce that after Annecy and Stuttgart 23 of the 39 Dennis & Dylan interstitials, for Dutch broadcaster BNN, are selected for competition at the International Animation Festival of Brazil. If you are in the neigbourhood please check them out. Rio De Janeiro July 10 – July 19 and Sao Paolo July 22 – July 26.
Collaboration with the Hersentumor.nl Foundation
The Drawing Room is extremely proud to create a website for the Hersentumor.nl Foundation. We have been selected from a pitch with six other agencies. Creating a functional, playful and informative website for children who have a brain tumor. Also giving their friends and families a place to get information about the procedures of being ill and the coping process. Responsible for the design will be designer and animator Rikkert Nusselder with support of graphic designer Gerjo Van Dam. IT-Specialist Ward Klijzing will support all to make this website an interactive success. Looking forward to share more information when possible!!
Pinkeltje by The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room has been asked by Telescreen to help redesign Pinkeltje for 3D animation. Pinkeltje is known as Punkelchen in Germany, Petitou in France, Fingerling in the U.K. and Prik in Denmark. Animators and designers wishing to particpate can contact The Drawing Room for the briefing.

The production of Dennis and Dylan, the animation interstitial series produced for BNN didn’t win the first price at the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart 2009. It did however reach the top five in it’s category of the 301 commissioned film projects entered in total. More information on interstitials can also be found on AWN.
