Animation Festival Annecy
Want to enjoy the sun, a few drinks and some animation movies? Well join us at the Animation Festival in Annecy. The people from The Drawing Room will be there and of course you are invited to the yearly mega side event of the festival: The Dutch Party. It will be held on Thursday June 9 from 4.30 – 6.30 pm at Café des Arts, Passage de L’isle 4, in Annecy. See you there!!
One more film Peace Palace
With great pleasure we can announce that we will be making one additional animated film for the visitors centre of the Peace Palace in The Hague. Just like the first four they will be directed and animated by our very own talents Gatze and Arjan. The films are commissioned by Christien Uringa of Bureau D’Arts. The five films will be explaining cases from the International Court of Justice and the Permanent Court of Arbitration. The visitors centre at the Peace Palace will open end of summer 2011. Of course we will keep you posted!!
IndieLisboa International Independent Film Festival
Things You’d Better Not Mix Up has won the IndieLisboa International Independent Film Festival 2011 Audience Award for best short film. Joost Lieuwma’s comic short was the audience’s darling film of this year’s edition of IndieLIsboa. Director Joost Lieuwma and producer Jiek Weishut are of course in heaven again and feeling very fortunate.
