Every person has a grandmother. Unfortunately the grandmother of The Drawing Room’s producer and agent Jiek Weishut passed away years ago. Grandmother Mies Bloch was a talented artist, illustrator and painter without the use of fancy software. Part of her work she was known for were her cross stitch designs which were also published. With great pleasure we can announce now that you don’t have to go to a museum to see her work. Oilily the world known Dutch brand for colourful clothing and necessities used Oma Mies her designs and made 10 bags and 4 purses. Go to their webshop and search for ‘Dutch Glory’. …or check out the work by clicking on Mies Bloch. Of course if you want a license too just contact Jiek.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that The Drawing Room’s very own Gustavo has been asked to work on the new film Damned Man a new Submarine BV production. The film is written by Gerry de Hoogh and will be directed by Mischa Kamp. Gustavo will be the storyboard artist on the project. After finishing the graphic novel ‘Gagarin’ and making storyboards and visuals for the known add agencies, this is a great new project to sink his teeth in. We wish the whole team good luck!!
