The Drawing Room is delighted to have Matty Jorissen and Wijnand Driessen on board. Experienced in animation and product design they make films for you and think a step ahead. What if you make a drivable animation experience 3 meters wide, 4 meters tall and 50 meters long would it work? Well, come to the Brabantse Dag (August 21-29, 2010) and see the George Pal bandwagon for yourselve. After that they’ll go back to the drawing table since they are working on an animated short of which a few stills are posted underneath their names.
The Drawing Room welcomes Ton van Rijswijk to be part of this flourishing collective of talented animators, illustrators and designers. Apart from the work which you can see by clicking on his name, he also worked on many productions directed by other animators shown on this website. A respected animator and musician also with a lot of experience with customized animation installations. Cool stuff, please check out his work!!
If you want animations also on your website. The Drawing Room has now a Vimeo Channel so you can embed our stuff and the stuff we find on the world wide web. Of course if you have a great find please drop us a line. Take a look and enjoy!!
After little more than half a year with a great crew and hard work we can proudly inform you that PECKER has its premiere on Saturday July 3. We were over the moon with this news and ran to the fridge (…again) to plop a bottle of champagne. We were even more delighted to hear that PECKER will be shown before one of the most famous animation features of the world. The one with the green ogre. Please check out the website of Pathé, the film will be featured in all Pathé cinemas.
Director Erik van Schaaik and animation producer Jiek Weishut went today to Nedcipro in Leiderdorp to see the newest production called PECKER for the first time on a big screen. Nedcipro is finalizing the film so that cinema chain Pathé will feature the film in 70 cinemas in The Netherlands. The film looks great and sounds beautiful!! Of course we hope you like it too. Keep you posted on where it will be screened and this will also be posted on the PECKER website.
